Socioeconomic Position and Dental Caries in Latin America: A Systematic Review

People who are in a bad socioeconomic position usually experience health outcomes. Moreover, higher mortality rates linked to deteriorating status. This trend can also be observed oral health. Worldwide, the highest prevalence of disease caries permanent teeth was Andean Latin America. The aim this review determine risk based on protocol designed accordance with Cochrane standards for systematic reviews. search criteria met Preferred Reporting Items Systematic reviews and Meta-Analysis Protocols (PRISMA) guidelines. A total 152 articles were reviewed. Finally, 9 studies included review. There is direct association between status, parents' educational level, family income, education patients' experience. Furthermore, highlights lack research America policies scientific evidence try reduce rate pediatric adult population.
